The
drawing.
One Layer-2 fabric across 15 data centers in four metros, every span our own dark fiber, lit by our own Nokia optical network. No leased waves, no third-party middle mile — when we say the port is ours, we mean the glass is too.
Four metros.
One LAN.
Two rings out of DFDC THG1 — north to NIKHEF and Equinix AM7 in Amsterdam, south through Bytesnet and SmartDC in Rotterdam — with Naaldwijk on redundant fiber into NIKHEF. Land anywhere, peer with everyone, everywhere.
Boring hardware.
Deliberately.
One vendor, one operating system, one automation surface. The entire fabric runs Arista EOS — 7280 series at every site, 7060DX4 where 400G lands — over an EVPN-VXLAN underlay we can program end to end.

The switch config
writes itself.
Every service on the fabric is rendered, diffed and applied by the platform — atomically, with a dry-run first, journaled per device. Ordering a circuit and getting a circuit are the same event.
Instant LOAs
Letters of Authorization generated the moment you order — patch panel, position and port pre-assigned. No back-office round-trips.
<60S →Self-service circuits
Metro and private VLANs between any two ports, created and torn down from the portal or CLI. Config sessions on the switch — atomic, diffable, reversible.
SECONDS →Quarantine onboarding
New ports land in a staging VLAN, validated automatically (one MAC, clean protocols), then released to production with route-server sessions activated.
AUTOMATED →API-first, portal included
Everything the portal does rides a public OpenAPI contract — script it, Terraform it, or click it. Same engine either way.
OPENAPI 3.1 →this week.
